Put “The Marathon of Life” In My Student’s Hands

My debut book, The Marathon of Life: How to Endure with Faith, Love and Discipline, went on sale Monday, November 10th.
 
At the end of that week, I told my students that I had officially published it. They erupted — cheers, excitement, pride, as they knew nothing about my book. Across all three classes, the same question rose up: “Ms. Gordon, where are our copies of the book?”
 
I am so deeply flattered.

I wrote The Marathon of Life as my intellectual property, and I will never charge my students for access to knowledge — especially not in a generation so deeply committed to understanding themselves, each other, and the world. It is beautiful to witness daily.
